Who is Isabelle?

My name is Isabelle Delannoy. I moved to England two years ago with my family. I have two daughters. I decided to become self-employed as a tutor in order to fit my working hours around my family life. In order to have some idea of how to manage my small business, I attended some Business Link workshops, which I found very helpful and really enjoyed.

In France, I taught English at secondary and primary school levels. I became a teacher in 2002 and used to teach in the close suburb of Paris.

Qualifications

I hold the Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I am also fully registered with the General Teaching Council (GTC) for England.

I qualified as a fully trained teacher in 2002. In 2001-2002, I taught near Caen (France) as a trainee teacher. Then, I taught in a secondary school near Paris for six years.

I have a CRB check.

I studied for a BA (Hons) in Applied Languages. (English, Spanish, International business, Law, Management). I did one year as an Erasmus student at Cardiff university and Cardiff Business School. Then I got a BA (Hons) in English. While I was teaching, I studied online towards a BA (Hons) in French as a Foreign Language.
